Have you ever wondered why the horseshoe is considered lucky? Let us save you
the hassle of a Google search and give you the information. There are several different theories out there.
1. Strength of Iron. One of them say it's because it is made from iron and iron is a strong metal which can withstand fire. This gave the iron horse shoe the meaning of strength and power. In Celtic times people hung horse shoes over their doors to ward off Goblins and evil spirits.
2. No Pain on Being Shod. Another theory is that many people of ancient times did not understand why the horse felt no pain when the horseshoe was hammered into the horse’s hoof and they associated the ability to feel no pain with the horseshoe, meaning it brings luck.
3. Moon Shape. It was also suggested that it is because the horseshoe resembles the crescent moon and the magical powers of the moon go as far back as Ancient Egypt. For Celts it resembled the Celtic Moon Gods crescent, theoretically making it extra fearsome for Goblins and evil spirits, that Celtic people wised to keep away.
The theories go on further, but no matter what the reasons the horseshoe remains an everlasting symbol of good luck and we believe this horseshoe bracelet will bring
you good luck.
